I know this is way too late, but as I already explained (in great depth, which is what I always do and end up boring ! lol). I used my daughters camera to take the photos of my cards and she could not find her cable to transfer the pics to my PC ! (Guess what is going on my birthday list?! - no not a cable silly!) . Anyway finally I have all the photos and this is the one I was going to enter for the week 31 Sketch Saturday Challenge !
Ingredients:-
Stamp Whiff of Joy; Teenage Lizzie with Box of Chocolates coloured with Distress Inks; Broken China, Brushed Corduroy, Faded Jeans, Weathered Wood, Frayed Burlap, Tattered Rose,Vintage Photo & Scattered Straw. Papers; Basic Grey - Granola. Flowers; Prima, Brads & Buttons; Basic Grey Granola and Euphoria, Ribbon from stash and phone charm made from various bits in my stash. sentiment; computer generated.
Thanks to Bev for pointing me in the direction of the distress inks and pads - I love this method, but do need some more practice!
I am also trying to follow the trend of decorating the inside also, which I think is a lovely finish to a card - Thanks to all those for inspiring, who already do this to such an awesome finish - you know who you are !
So, this is the inside of the card. The inside 'left' page also had some punched flowers and bits in the coordinating paper, but my daughter didn't take a photo ! The sentiment is computer generated but I can't remember where it came from !
Hope you like it!
It was also my friends 40th birthday card (last time I ask my daughter to take a photo! - I thought my photography was bad!) he he.
Oh this is FAB Julie - well done on the distress inks colouring - you've done a brilliant job.
