FRIDAY SKETCHERS WEEK 38 & PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE WEEK 35 - ROMANCE

My card actually covers two challenges - How cool is that - hope I got it right!. FRIDAY SKETCHERS WEEK 38, which is sponsored by 7 Kids College Fund has a brilliant sketch by Claudia, Pretty Pressings. It is a simple sketch but this leaves you with plenty of opportunity to use your creative brain cells! That is where I have the problem! lol.

PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE WEEK 35 - ROMANCE, which is sponsored by Anice from Funky Hand has a theme of romance with Valentines day looming, so an ideal opportunity to make your valentine a special card.

For my design I used a Penny Black stamped image a very special, generous lady gave me, thanks Bev and hugs babes. I coloured this using a mixture of distress inks, watercolour pencils, cosmic shimmers and twinkling h2o's ! phew! The DP are from the Basic Grey Euphoria range, Prima flowers, with added bits, Papermania brads, ribbon from my stash and charms and spacers I got off Ebay from China - loves these ! Another hint from Bev! The sentiment is romance based and I created using ms publisher.

I have carried on the romance theme inside the card and used the same DP papers and embellishments for continuity. I seem to have a thing for vellum at the moment (better than one for rubber i guess!) lol. The sentiment is from the Internet. Hope you like my efforts and thanks for reading my ramblings!
