STAMP SOMETHING CHALLENGE - No Stamping Allowed

Although this is a sombre occasion card I had to make today, it fits in perfectly with the Stamp Something Challenge this week of - 'No Stamping Allowed'. The challenge is being sponsored by Pamela from FireCracker Designs

This is my entry for the challenge;-

Ingredients; Cardstock; Grey linen effect base card, white hammered effect and light brown for matting, Pattern paper; Basic Grey Granola paper pad, Sentiment; DCWV rub on quote stack,

Hope you like the simplicity of the design. I thought as this was a rather difficult occasion to be sending a card for, it was a time for less rather than more.

It was quite a shock to hear the news that a neighbour had died suddenly on Boxing Day, whilst celebrating with all his family. A lovely man who was only 62 and always had a cheery wave and a pleasant smile to give. It just shows that you should live each day as your last. Always look on the brighter side. Why waste precious time on negativity - does it really matter to be right in the scheme of things.
